A practice that moves between hyperrealist portraiture and gestural abstraction. The figurative paintings begin in the face: women in cream, sepia and lace, often partially veiled, paired or doubled — portraits of what is held back rather than what is performed. The abstract works push paint into pure event: color fields, tactile surfaces, marks read as half-remembered languages. All works are oil on linen or on panel, signed and dated by the artist, and accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity.
